Our church board is comprised of Elders and Deacons that oversee the spiritual, physical and administrative management of the church. This team of trusted individuals is elected by the congregation and works with the Pastor to ensure the mission of the church is carried out. The current church board members are:

Mark Smeltzer – Pastor Pastor Mark is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a master’s degree in ministry. He is celebrating over 29 years at GCC this year. He and his wife Deb have been blessed with two children – Brian and Charissa, plus eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is an avid Chicago Cubs fan! His life verse is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” |
